Zones
Up all night on Temu. Deals! I had to have them! It knew me so well so soon!
A Season in Hell by Arthur Rimbaud is arranged into roughly nine parts. I remember reading once that the parts of the poem could be considered more like ‘zones’ and something struck me about that idea of zones. It reminded me of the Zone of Andrei Tarkovsky’s Stalker. Tarkovsky refuted any symbolic interpretation of the Zone and insisted it should be regarded as just that— a zone. At the moment, Another Season in Hell is also arranged roughly into ten Zones.
